Paper Submission

All submissions must be made electronically as PDF files. The submitted paper should be blind (none of the authors affiliations or names should be included), with its content in final, publishable form before the submission deadline listed in the important information. Paper submissions will be reviewed by at least two members of the technical and/or program committee. This process will be conducted entirely online, with the results of the review process to be posted on this website. Authors will also be notified of the review outcome by email. A complete paper should be submitted in camera-ready format. Papers accepted for the conference will be allocated 6 pages in the proceedings, with the option of purchasing up to 2 extra pages (to be paid after paper acceptance, at the time of registration for the conference). Therefore if you are unwilling or unable to pay the extra charge, you should limit yourself to 6 pages.

Authorís Responsibilities: The paper is original and has not been submitted to any other conferences or journals. The paper does not contain any plagiarism and will be presented by the author or a co-author in person. The conference organisers will be bound by the IAPR Statement of Ethics including the IAPR Ethical Requirements for Authors. DICTA 2011 retains the right to eliminate any papers in violation of these requirements.

Dual/Double Submissions: By submitting a manuscript to DICTA, the authors guarantee that it has not been previously published (or accepted for publication) in substantially similar form. Furthermore, no paper which contains significant overlap with the contributions of this paper either is under review at the moment of submission or will be submitted during the DICTA 2011 review period to any of the following: another conference, a workshop, or a journal. Violation of any of these conditions will lead to your paper not being included in the proceedings.

Accepted papers will be published by the IEEE eXpress Conference Publishing Services (CPS). Please refer to the following files for detailed formatting instructions including an example submission paper with detailed guidlines. Authors of accepted papers will be required to sign the IEEE copyright form available from IEEE Intellectual Property Rights.

Note: The LaTeX System Tester is included in the LaTeX archives content. The package includes instructions on how to test your LaTeX system settings and reconfigure them as necessary to enable you to emulate the "control output" for the best PDF conversion. You are strongly encouraged to perform this test before laying out your final manuscript.
